Preferred Vendor Monthly Spotlight
"Stat Doctors" Getting Better Just Got Easier
The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association Service Corporation is pleased to announce our newest preferred vendor “Stat Doctors”. The Service Corporation understands your need to keep employee healthcare cost under control. Please take a minute to review this important new offering.
As you know, the cost of insuring employees keeps escalating, rising at nearly twice the rate of inflation. At the same time, over 70% of Americans do not have ready access to their primary care physicians. The STAT DOCTORS™ eHealth service was specifically designed to address these gaps in our healthcare system.
STAT DOCTORS™ provides your employees direct and immediate access to care for common medical conditions thus reducing urgent care and emergency department visits. Whether at work, on vacation, traveling for business, or at home in the middle of the night with a sick child, quality healthcare is only a few clicks or a phone call away, 24 hours 7 days a week.
STAT DOCTORS™ also reduces healthcare expenses for companies and patients by redirecting routine emergency room and urgent care visits to our team of on-call physicians.
- STAT DOCTORS™ is the only eHealth provider using a national network of board certified emergency room physicians as the first access point for patients.
- Visits are conducted over the internet using webcam technology or via phone.
- Many non-emergency illnesses can be accurately diagnosed and treated, including cold and flu, respiratory problems, rashes, sprains, vomiting, UTI, ear aches, throat infections, etc.
- Physicians prescribe via eScript directly to the employee’s preferred pharmacy.
- All records are HIPPA compliant and confidential.
- STAT DOCTORS™ increases employee satisfaction, improves productivity and reduces absenteeism.
- The STAT DOCTORS™ solution reduces insurance and healthcare costs over time, and is projected to provide positive ROI within a few months following implementation.
