The Job Fair Program is designed to assist participating hospitals with their recruitment efforts.  The purpose of this program is to help recruit nurses and other health care professionals at the national level to Arizona.  There are different options of the Job Fair Program that participating hospitals may choose from including the following:       

Job Fair Representation 

The program allows participating hospitals and health care systems an opportunity to be represented at various national nursing and allied health events throughout the year at a fraction of the cost to individually exhibit at each of these events.  Why should hospitals spend money on getting their own booth and sending representatives when AzHHA can represent each participating facility at a fraction of the costs?  With the current economy, the Job Fair Program is a great way to save money, while still being represented at the national conventions.  The program is based on a calendar year basis.  Members have the opportunity to sign-up at any time. 

With the changes in the economy, being represented at the national conventions is an excellent way in which to get your facility name recognized and to draw interested candidates to your website and/or facility for possible interviews that lead to job placement.  This program operates at a fraction of the costs it takes to send one or two recruiters to the conventions, not to mention the reduction in costs with advertising in your local newspaper.  AzHHA distributes CDs and booklets containing information about the participating hospitals at the conventions, as well as gathering a list of interested candidates for hospitals to follow-up with for potential employment.

Along with the national recognition from the health care conventions, the AzHHA Job Fair Program allows participating facilities full access to the AzHealthjobs.com website, a boutique job board website that is designed for the healthcare job seeker.  Participating facilities will have unlimited use of the website to post open positions and view resumes from healthcare individuals that are seeking career changes.  There are associated costs of participating in this program.

Participating members of the Job Fair Program also have the option of unlimited use of the website without being represented at the national conventions.  The job board website allows member facilities to post vacant positions within their organizations, enables interested applicants to submit resumes for all facilities to view, and invites applicants to submit resumes for any open position posted.  The site receives more than 150,000 page views per month. 

AzHHA has just recently partnered with Boxwood Technologies to expand recruitment capabilities with the National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN).  NHCN is a growing network of over 185 top healthcare associations and professional organizations.  The site is designed specifically to target health care professions to hospitals’ niche talent pool.

Under the Job Fair Program, participating members will have unlimited access to the AzHealthjobs.com website.  For an additional fee, members may opt to post an open position under the NHCN national site.  Another option of the Job Fair Program is to have the ability to post an individual position for 30 days.  The fee is paid at the time of the ad placement.
